The control panel of the fully automatic cold heading machine features the following components, arranged left-to-right and top-to-bottom:
1. Power Indicator: white light when power is connected.
2. Oil Pump Indicator: green light when activated. Note: The oil pump must run for 5 minutes for lubrication before machine operation.
3. Lubrication Indicator: green light during normal intermittent oil injection.
4. Main Motor Indicator: green light when the motor operates normally.
5. Door Safety Indicator: red alert if guards are open/unlatched; extinguishes when fully closed to enable operation.
6. Alarm Beacon: flashing red light with buzzer for oil/pressure anomalies or door safety issues.
1. Continuous/Jog Mode Selector:
a) Continuous: Automatic operation
b) Jog: Manual clutch-controlled mode for die setup/maintenance
2. Oil Pump Start Button: Activates lubrication system
3. Feeding Start Button: Engages material feed clutch
4. Material Clamp Button: Controls wire roller pressure
5. Emergency Stop Button: Instant machine halt
6. Clutch Button: Brakes main motor (similar to automotive clutch)
1. Forward Jog Button: Requires simultaneous clutch press for incremental forward movement
2. Reverse Jog Button: Requires clutch + button press for incremental backward movement
3. Continuous Start Button: Clutch + button press for full operation
